Your Florida Beach Wedding Specialists
Sarasota has some of the best beach wedding locations for your Florida beach destination wedding. Six islands make up Sarasota's coastline. And, they all have their own unique style. From the white, powdery sound of Siesta, the quiet nature of Longboat Key, the eclectic dining and shopping in Lido Beach, and the laid back vibe in Venice Beach, you are sure to find your ideal beach wedding location.
With all these locations connected to Sarasota by an assortment of bridges, you will never lack for things to do. With its family-friendly atmosphere, attractions, such as the Ringling Museum, you will have more than enough time to explore the area, as well as enjoy your beach wedding ceremony. For most of the Sarasota beaches, a beach wedding permit is required. If you are getting married at a beach in front of a condo, hotel, or private home, permission will need to be given by owner/management. Keep in mind when booking your accommodations, "private" beach doesn't necessarily mean it will be private just for your ceremony. It usually means you can only access their beach through their private access point. It will still be public for those guests who are staying at the same area.
Getting around Siesta is quite easy. The large public beach is walking distance to several beach homes and condos. As well as throughout the island, there are several golf cart drivers that will drive you wherever you want to go, for free (tips are greatly appreciated, though!). On Sunday, you can enjoy the famous drum circle where local musicians, dancers, visitors all end up on the beach and enjoy the evening sunset. Turtle Beach is located on the south end of Siesta Key. While it doesn't have the white sandy beach like Siesta, it does have easy beach access, as well as parking close to the beach.
Lido Beach has some great resorts to stay at. Plus, St. Armand's circle is a short walk away from the beach and has so many shops, restaurants, boutiques, and bars to enjoy after your relaxing day on the beach.
Venice beach offers a laid back atmosphere with casual beach front dining, as well as five star restaurants.
Longboat Key has a mix of condos and beach homes of all sizes, for a quiet, relaxing, intimate Sarasota beach wedding ceremony.
A permit is required for a beach wedding, but as of now, the permits are free.
The sunsets at these beaches are spectacular! What a great time to get married on the beach. We schedule our sunset weddings, approximately one hour before sunset. This allows us to have enough lighting to get those great photos you will want for your beach wedding ceremony.
We look forward to hearing from you, so we can start making plans for your destination beach wedding in Sarasota!
