Florida Marriage License Information--
A "must have" for your Florida Beach Wedding!
YOU NEED TO OBTAIN A FLORIDA MARRIAGE LICENSE in order to get married in the State
of Florida.      You can go in person to any county in the State of Florida to apply.   

Florida Resident Marriage License Information:
If you are a resident of the State of Florida you have two options:  You may complete a premarital
course and your fee will be reduced by $32.50.  You won't have a waiting period if you take the
premarital course.  Or,  you have the option of not to taking the course and wait three days to
receive your marriage license.


Florida Resident Marriage License Information:
If both the bride and groom are NOT residents of the State of Florida, there is NO waiting period
for your marriage license.  You can receive your license on the same day as you go in to the
clerk's office and apply.


After your Florida Beach Wedding Ceremony:
After the wedding, we will mail  your marriage license to the county where you received it from, and
the license  will be recorded.  Once you receive your certified, recorded copy in the mail (from the
clerk's office), you can start the process of changing your name at the Driver's License Office,
Social Security Administration, etc... This certified, recorded copy of your marriage license will be
your official marriage  document that will be valid internationally.


The fee for your marriage license application is $93.50*.  Your Florida marriage license  is valid for
60 days.  Regardless of which Florida county you applied for your license, the marriage may take
place anywhere in the state of Florida.
